Collection Stamps and first day issue sheets mainly European/German 1940s to 80s

  

I grew up in Germany so most of these stamps are European/German. The dates span from the 1940s to the 1980s. I would estimate over 3000 stamps, partially in their albums. They come in all conditions from MINT never touched to stamped on an envelope.

The photos give you an idea. There is about 2lbs of stamps that are still attached to paper mainly from the 1980s Germany. There are 100s of stamps already taken off the envelopes in a drying book from the 1950s and 60s - mainly European. There are over 25 German first day of issue sheets from the 80s, same amount of first day of issue covers i. From Germany and Olympic Games in Austria.

There are 7 albums mostly full of sorted (by country) stamps. I took some sample photos. I never catalogued the collection for value, there may be gems in there I have no idea about, my loss and your pleasure to find.
