VTG Stamp Collection- LOT of 5 ALBUMS- SEE VIDEO IN DESCRIP 1800s-1980's

  

This is my grandfathers 5 Album Stamp Collection, i inherited this years ago and its been sitting in a box in my closet ever since, unfortunately I don't know anything about stamps and would like these to go to another collector. My grandfather was really proud of his stamp collection and it would make me feel better if it went to someone who can really cherish and love these stamps. I started to do some research on some of the stamps in the collection only to feel overwhelmed by the amount in each book. There are THOUSANDS of stamps in this collection, some really cool from what I've already read. Here what i can tell you so far.

There are US stamps that date back all the way to the 1860's. Three of the books are stamps from all over the world, too many countries to even name.

A lot of these were collected as my grandfather served in the Navy and traveled the world. A couple that caught my eye.

1861 Thomas Jefferson 10c Brown stamp. 1890 Benjamin Franklin 1c #219.
