Mystic US Stamp Collection American Heirloom Album 1847 --1996. The book has all the pages minus, I believe, the first page of the Columbians. Perfect for the young, but somewhat advanced collector! This is the collection of a long time stamp collector (their second set), who began collecting in the early 1930s. The collection picks up with a 1908 cancelled Washington 3 cent and has 13 stamps cancelled and un-cancelled up to 1925 - - then the collection takes off.

All the issues beyond that are un-cancelled through 1996 and Id call that venture about 85% complete. Every stamp is beautifully mounted in Scott or Prinz mounts. From 1908 until 1924 there are 13 stamps (cancelled and un-cancelled). Airmails - 105 unused stamps. Back of Book - 36 unused stamps.

ALMOST 1900 DIFFERENT US STAMPS! All are un-cancelled and the ones I checked were all original gum/unhinged, but I did not check them all.

What is NOT in this collection. No Columbians there was a mount for one, but it was gone when I got the album. No upside down (or right side up for that matter) Jennys. What you do get is a great mid-range collection that you can build on! I unique opportunity to kick-start a committed collector.
