1840 2015 Great Britain LARGE STAMP COLLECTION IN SIX (6) DAVO ALBUMS I VI

PLEASE READ THROUGH TERMS AND CONDITIONS FURTHER DOWN BEFORE PURCHASING THIS ITEM. Great Britain large stamp collection 1840 - 2015 housed in six (6) Great Britain Davo Hingeless albums being volumes I - VI.

There a lot of CTO's (see below) which are not postally used of course. Inside the 6 albums are over 3000 DIFFERENT INDIVIDUAL STAMPS with 100's of full sets inserted into the clear acid free plastic mounts on the correct year page and allocated space for that stamp. From 1970 onwards a lot of the stamps and mini sheets are CTO (Cancelled to Order) through British Philatelic Bureau as they were issued. There are also pages at the end of at least first 3 albums for GB Officials , Regionals (Northern Island , Scotland, Wales, Guernsey , Jersey / Channel Islands). The officials are almost empty. However there are at least 300 Regional stamps inside the albums including a few mini sheets as well. Davo GB Volumes are numbered I - VI in roman numerals. Each album comes with a matching slip case. Space for each stamp / mini sheet up to 2015 with a clear stamp mount affixed for each stamp.

Spaces either have a picture of the stamp or a basic description (face value and colour). Very Attractive and your stamps are protected as well. As stated above , the majority of the stamps & mini sheets particularly from 1971 are CTO (cancelled to order) through British Philatelic Bureau with small neat cancels. There are around 3000 CTO and used.

There are also 300 estimated mint. Most of the CTO's are as fresh in appearance as mint stamps with full gum. SUMMARY OF CONTENTS OF ALL SIX ALBUMS. ALBUM VOLUME I (1840 - 1970). A number of early stamps in Album I (first album 1840 - 1970) up to King George VI have some tone / rust on them as they no doubt were inserted into the album in that condition.

All stamps in this first album otherwise appear OK but allow for one or two to have some fault unnoticed. ALBUM I HAS OVER 400 DIFFERENT STAMPS INCLUDING. QUEEN VICTORIA 25 used stamps including.

The 1887 issue ALL FACE VALUES COMPLETE x 14 TO 1/- GREEN & RED. KING EDWARD VII - Used x 14 FACE VALUES PLUS INSERTED IS A USED BLOCK OF 4 of the 1/- GREEN & RED. KING GEORGE V - 50 stamps or so MOSTLY USED. 1936 KING EDWARD VIII SET OF 4 STAMPS USED.

KING GEORGE VI - 50+ MOSTLY USED STAMPS MOST IN SETS OR NEAR SETS. QUEEN ELIZABETH II - MOUNTS LARGELY FILLED ON 21 PAGES SO NEARLY COMPLETE. REGIONAL ISSUES 1958 - 1967 - about 10 are mint and the rest are CTO / USED - THE WHOLE 2 PAGES ARE ALMOST FULL.

ALBUM VOLUME 2 (1970 - 1989). 800 STAMPS including Regionals (95% COMPLETE WITH around 75 MINT & the REST ARE mostly CTO).

ALBUM VOLUME III (1990 - 1999). 500 + stamps and mini sheets - 95% COMPLETE. ALBUM VOLUME IV (2000 - 2007).

Album 4 has at least 750 stamps and mini sheets including Regionals & is more than 95% full with only a few pages empty, 1 or 2 pages partly complete. And the rest of the pages full. Stamps are mostly CTO apart from 30 /35 mint. ALBUM VOLUME V (2008 - 2011). Album 5 has more than 400 stamps and mini sheets. It is at least 95% full and at least 80 are mint. The rest are mostly CTO.

ALBUM VOLUME VI (2012 - 2015). Album 6 has more than 400 stamps and mini sheets. It is at least 85- 90% full and at least 130 are mint. A substantial collection - particularly post 1930 - of Great Britain stamps and mini sheets housed in lovely albums proud to be displayed.
